About Us

Welcome to Alvarez Family Boxing — where we value community, family, and the highest quality training experience.

We are a family owned and operated USA Boxing registered gym. Founded with the belief that boxing and exercise can change lives, Alvarez Family Boxing was built to be a space where anyone (from beginners to pro fighters) can train, grow, and belong. When you train at Alvarez Family Boxing, we welcome you into our family and an extension of our home.
Our Mission
To be the leader in boxing and mma striking north of Boston while empowering individuals of all levels to build strength, confidence, and resilience.
Who We Train

At Alvarez Family Boxing, our doors are open to everyone:

-
Everyday people looking to get in shape, relieve stress, and learn a new skill in a welcoming, no-ego environment. Many of our members live in Salem, Beverly, Peabody, Danvers, and surrounding North Shore cities.
-
Amateur boxers and mma fighters ready to take their training to the next level with technical coaching and conditioning.
-
Professional fighters looking for serious fight prep, strategic sparring, and a focused, experienced team. Some pro fighters we've worked with: Rico DiSciullo, Rob Font, Calvin Kattar, Kayla Harrison, Kyle Bochniak, Arian Sadikovic, Adrian Sosa, Tateki Matsuda, and Tony Martin.

No matter your goal, we’re here to help you meet it.
What sets us apart
-
Real boxing. Real community. No trends, no fluff — just hard work, good people, and world class coaching.
-
All levels welcome. We train fighters and beginners side-by-side with respect and patience.
-
Family-owned, family values. Integrity, loyalty, and support are in everything we do.
